We’re Carrie and J.B., and we love thinking about and sharing truths from God’s Word that set people free. We’ve been married ever since we were kids finishing college, and have been blessed over the years with six children of our own, all of whom are following after God. While we were both born again before we got married, some years ago we discovered something we’d been sorely lacking. In all our time in the Bible, and in spite of the many church activities that had been central to our lives from the start, we had missed critical aspects of the gospel. The things we learned changed our lives and will change yours, too!

Our educational background includes Carrie graduating from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, and J.B. graduating from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. We’ve jointly undertaken extensive Bible study over the past decade, and J.B. earned a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Charis Bible College. We worked together over several years to publish J.B.’s first book, Heaven-Bound but Going Nowhere: Believer’s Guidebook to Freedom, Fruitfulness, and Fulfillment (New Creation Press). We’ve since added a companion Leader’s Guide to help small groups using the book for discipleship training.

We enjoy living near the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, hanging out with our kids, taking long walks and visiting with friends on nearby trails. Early last year we upped our exercise routine with Stronger HIIT and Plyo training–the domain of 20-somethings! For personal interests, Carrie loves reading, researching, studying, music, hiking, and cooking. J.B. plays guitar, enjoys nature, art, calligraphy, gardening, and going out to pray for people on the street. We both like to write, and J.B. enjoys opportunities to teach groups large and small. We’ve led local small groups for much of the past ten years, and are now excited to branch out to a wider audience through writing and video.
